Will I be billed for the Protection Plan if my miner is paused?

By default, yes. Protection Plan fees continue to be invoiced for paused units and coverage remains active during a hosting pause.

Opting out during a pause

• Submit a request through the Simple Mining dashboard or email support@simplemining.io
• Opt-outs take effect on the first day of the following calendar month
• Coverage is suspended for any unit you opt out of
• Any break event during the opt-out period will not be covered

Please note: Mining Recovery Credits do not accrue during a hosting pause regardless of whether you opt out, since your miners are not actively hashing during that time.
