Why Is There a Repair Charge on My Invoice?
Learn when repairs are billed & what the Protection Plan covers.
When does a repair charge appear?
Repairs on completed tickets from the month prior are billed for. Miners bought directly from us have free repairs, parts and labor included, for 12 months from the day they come online. After that, repairs are covered by your Protection Plan if you are enrolled, or billed at cost if you are not. Sales tax applies to repair charges.
What does the Protection Plan cover?
The Protection Plan covers all repair labor and unlimited fan replacements. Parts are covered up to the $500 Annual Parts Allowance per miner. If a repair's parts cost more than the remaining allowance, the difference appears on your invoice.
Do I need to approve repairs?
Hashboard replacements that can not be covered by your parts allowance will need approval. You can approve how we proceed on your repair ticket in your dashboard.
How do I see if my miner was repaired?
- Go to Support and Resources.
- Select Hosting Repairs.
- Open the ticket on the Completed tab.
- The ticket will have part/s attached if a repair was performed.
What if the repair did not fix my miner?
Every repair carries a 14-day warranty. If the same component fails within 14 days of the miner coming back online, we repair or replace it again at no charge.
Tip: If a charge does not match what you expected, email accounting@simplemining.io within 5 days of the invoice date with the invoice number and Miner ID.
