What If My Payment Is Disputed, Returned, or Declined?
Learn how to dispute an invoice with us, what happens with a chargeback, and how to retry a failed payment.
How do I dispute an invoice?
- Email accounting@simplemining.io within 5 days of the invoice date and describe the issue.
- Pay at least 90% of the invoice by the due date.
If either step is missed, the full amount is due. We review every dispute in good faith, and if the invoice was wrong, the difference is credited to your account. You will receive our decision by email within 5 business days of submitting the dispute.
What happens if I file a chargeback with my bank?
A chargeback or bank dispute reverses your payment, so the invoice becomes unpaid again. Late fees and overdue status then apply on the normal schedule: a late fee on day 5 past due, and overdue status on the 10th day past due.
My payment was returned or declined. How do I retry?
The invoice goes back to unpaid, and you can retry it yourself:
- Open the Invoice section of your dashboard.
- Select the invoice.
- Choose a payment method and pay through Paystand.
To use a new card or bank account, add it first under View Profile, Payment Methods.
I was charged, but my invoice still shows unpaid. Why?
Wire payments take up to 3 business days to clear, and BTC payments post after 2 network confirmations. If a payment has not posted after 3 business days or by the 15th, email accounting@simplemining.io with the invoice number, payment date, and amount.
Tip: Set an Auto Pull payment method under View Profile, Payment Methods so a failed payment never surprises you on the due date.
