My Miner Is Offline. What Should I Check?
Learn the quick checks to run when a miner goes offline and when to contact support
Do I need to report it?
No. Our monitoring system detects offline and underperforming miners and opens repair tickets automatically on a scheduled basis.
What should I check?
- Check for a repair ticket. Go to Hosting Operations > Repair Tickets and search by Miner ID or serial number under the Open tab to see the status, diagnosis, and ETA.
- Check the Facility Status page. Visit the Facility Status page in your dashboard to see whether your site is curtailed or in scheduled maintenance. Miners are powered down on purpose during these events and come back on their own.
- No ticket yet? The automatic ticketing system will open one the next time it runs.
When should I contact support?
Reach out to support@simplemining.io in any of the following situations:
- An open repair ticket has passed its estimated completion date with no update.
- No repair ticket has been created after 24 hours and the Facility Status page shows no curtailment or scheduled maintenance.
- Your miner is listed as online but is not producing hashrate.
