How do I reset my dashboard password when my account is locked?

Step-by-step guide on resetting your password to unlock your dashboard account

How to Reset Your Password

Step 1 — Go to the Simple Mining Dashboard Login Page Open your browser and navigate to the Simple Mining dashboard login page. You can find this at your standard login URL or through the link provided in your original Simple Mining welcome email.

Step 2 — Click "Forgot Password" On the login screen, look for the "Forgot Password?" link. It is located just below the password entry field. Click it.

Step 3 — Enter Your Registered Email Address You will be prompted to enter the email address associated with your Simple Mining account. Make sure to use the email address you originally registered with, this is the same email where you receive invoices and account notifications.

Step 4 — Check Your Email for the Reset Link After submitting your email, Simple Mining will send a password reset link to that address. Check your inbox within a few minutes. If you don't see it:

  • Check your Spam or Junk folder
  • Check any Promotions tab (if using Gmail)
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address

Step 5 — Click the Reset Link Open the email from Simple Mining and click the password reset link. Note that reset links are typically time-sensitive — if too much time passes, the link may expire and you'll need to request a new one by repeating Steps 2–4.

Step 6 — Create a New Password You'll be taken to a page where you can enter and confirm your new password. Choose something secure — a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters is recommended. Avoid reusing old passwords.

Step 7 — Log In with Your New Password Once your new password is saved, return to the Simple Mining dashboard login page and sign in using your email and the new password you just created. Or, you can choose the magic link, which will then send you a separate email with a link to enter the dashboard portal.

If You Are Being Asked for Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

If after entering your correct password (or after completing a reset) the system is prompting you for a two-factor authentication (2FA) code and you no longer have access to your authenticator app or registered phone number, you will not be able to complete login on your own.

Please contact Simple Mining customer support directly so we can remove the 2FA requirement from your account and restore your access.
