How billing works when your miner is paused
Learn how to pause a miner and understand how your billing is affected before and after pausing a miner.
Electricity and hosting fees are pro-rated from the exact time your unit is paused. You are not charged for periods when your miner is confirmed as paused. A pause icon will show next to the miner in the Simple Mining dashboard when a miner is paused.
Miners paused for more than 30 days are subject to de-racking. Once a miner is de-racked, it can only be brought back online when rack space becomes available. We cannot guarantee a specific timeline for reracking or that the miner will return to the same site.
When you are ready to resume mining, you can resume your miner via the Simple Mining Dashboard or contact support at support@simplemining.io. Fees will resume from the time the unit is brought back online.
If you notice that a paused unit appears to have come back online unexpectedly, contact support immediately at support@simplemining.io.
